The 3rd annual Cooper's Run will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 and consists of two separate events which have been purposefully arranged with the hopes of attracting just about everyone. Opening ceremonies will begin at 8 am, followed by the 5K (3.1 mile) run/walk at 8:30 am. Then, a separate (and much shorter!) fun walk/run (really just a jaunt around the neighborhood) will begin at 9:00 am. Everyone and everything (wagons, decorated bikes, strollers, etc.) are welcome in either event.
Both events will begin and end at 1035 South 800 East, Orem, Utah where there will be family oriented stay-as-long-as-you-want type activities such as an up close look at some of Orem's police, fire and rescue vehicles, free Otter Pops, information about Learning Dynamics Pre-School, the AirMed helicopter (assuming it's not needed elsewhere), plenty of music, and many other fun activities.
There will be something for everybody! So come join us in memory of Cooper and in expressing our personal and community appreciation to Orem City's Police and Fire departments and EMS workers everywhere!
Cost to Participate
We've tried to make this affordable for everyone while at the same time raising funds for a great cause. We'd love to see a whole bunch of Cooper's Run shirts around town but understand if it imposes a financial burden. Each shirt purchased helps us fund the scholarship more than the "without shirt" options--but either way, we'd love to have you participate!

If you are a "Fun-Runner Only" and would like a t-shirt, there are two price points:
- 0 to 3 years old, add $5.00
- 4 years old and older, add $10.00
Shirts are not guaranteed for any registration occurring after July 10, 2011; but we'll try our best!
Donations without participation are certainly welcome.
Registration and Participation Packets
For those registering via the website (both 5K and/or Fun Run), your participation packets (numbers, t-shirts, etc.) will be available on Friday, July 27, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at 1035 South 800 East, Orem, Utah. If you cannot make it during these times, the packets will be available on race-day from 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.
Same-day registration is available from 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.
T-Shirts will be subject to availability for same day registrants.

Starting Line / Location / Parking
Cooper's Run (both runs) will begin and end at 1035 South 800 East, Orem, Utah. This is also the venue of the activities. Parking is available across the street in the University Mall parking lot. Please park near the old Mervyn's building and then cross 800 East using the cross walks just north-east of the new University Mall Theaters.
