General Information

     
 

My name is Evan Christensen. On July 31, 2009 my four year old cousin Cooper Kofford was killed in an automobile accident. As you can imagine this event had a strong impact on my family and I.

A few years ago his parents set up a nonprofit foundation to support child safety awareness and local police and fire department activities. It is also used to help other accident victims. I would invite you to spend time on this website to learn more about Cooper, his family and the causes supported by the foundation.

On Saturday, November 12 I am sponsoring a 5k and Family Fun Run in Las Vegas for my Eagle Scout project. The proceeds raised will go to the Coopers Run Foundation. I hope you will bring your family and friends with you to participate in this event.

This event will promote accident prevention and safety. In addition to the Las Vegas Fire Department, Mcgruff from Metro will be there. We'll also have representatives from the Safekids Coalition will be putting in kids car seats for FREE.

Registration

Online Registration is now closed. Please arrive early to the event to register in person. See you there!

Packet Pick-Up

Packets will be available for pick-up the morning of the race, between 7:30 - 8:15am (at the race).
